Advantage Ford is part of the Wood Automotive Group, one of Alberta’s largest automobile retailers. Specializing in Ford and Special Vehicle Team (SVT) automobiles, Advantage Ford is the largest retail Ford store in Calgary, the #1 Mustang dealer in Canada for the last 5 years, and the #1 dealer of Ford SVTs – Ford’s highest-performance vehicles. And yet, Advantage Ford comes from humble beginnings; their tremendous success can be attributed to hard work and team effort.

When Advantage Ford first hit the scene in 1995, it was amongst the smallest players in the Calgary market. With a small team and a dealership located just 5.4 km down the road from the original flagship store, it was an uphill climb for Advantage Ford to make a name for itself. However, from the very beginning, the dealership quickly gained a reputation for excellence in customer service. Customers were not viewed as clients, but rather as family. This value was embedded within the ways of Advantage Ford from very early on, simply because it was the right thing to do.

Advantage Ford continues to be recognized for its exceptional service, having been named #1 in Customer Satisfaction for 2010 out of the 26 dealerships that make up Ford’s Western Region. Additionally, Advantage Ford has won the President’s Award – the most prestigious award offered by Ford – several times over the last 15 years. The President’s Award is granted on the basis of sales volume and customer service – attributes in which Advantage Ford is a leader.

Most recently, Advantage Ford encountered its greatest challenge to date: the worst economic recession in more than 70 years. Yet in spite of this daunting trial, the dealership managed to grow its business in both new and used vehicle sales, and in particular, its fleet department. This unshakable success is attributed to Advantage Ford’s energetic atmosphere. Simply put, Advantage Ford is a great place to be whether you’re buying a vehicle, or just hanging out.
