We have been talking about the new 2019 Ford Ranger for a long time.  We saw concepts, artists predictions and heard little bits of info from a reliable source!  We even, as a dealership got to see the new concept vehicle (granted - from behind a rope) so we have all been excited awaiting it's arrival on the lot.  Well the Ford Ranger has finally landed!  The delivery driver doesn't get a welcome like this too often.  People from every department were waiting on the roadside for a first glimpse and there were plenty of Ooo's and ahhh's as pulled up!  First reactions: "oooh it's a Lariat", "what's the price point for this beauty" and "It has a full cab now?".  Now, it is very very different to the previous Ranger.  Definitely "beefier".

Some are saying that it has the features of a truck but the space-saving agility that's ideal for the city.  A pretty good mix for us Calgarians! It's standard 2.3L ecoboost engine gives us good value for our fuel consumption, beating other gas-powered pickup's in it's class with a torque rating 310 lb-ft.! If you go with the standard you can get away with a substantial max payload of 1650 lb and 7500 lb tow if you decide to go with the trailer tow package and trailer brake controller.

The biggest difference in it's practicality at a glance with the new Ranger versus the old model is the seating in the back which is surprisingly more spacious.  Perhaps a draw back with the old model was the inability to bring passengers comfortably.  It has been updated with technology including FordPass Connect which is essentially a wi-fi hotspot that allows easy access to our contact details or roadside assistance, finding car parking spaces on the go and comparing local fuel prices so that you can get the best deal. You can activate your remote start and even schedule reoccurring times, locate your vehicle and enjoy the wi-fi hotspot from up to 50ft away from the vehicle.
