• For 36 years, Gerry has been growing the citywide business. Before this, Gerry grew up in Scotland where he worked at a dealership for his father. Gerry has had a lifetime of experiences working for and owning his own Ford dealerships, which now has over 600 employees.
• Gerry has led the Wood Automotive Group in taking care of life-long relationships with customers that are cost-effective along with excellent service.
• Gerry is known for his leadership in the Canadain Automotive Industry. He took part in local, provincial, and national associations. Because of his high-level involvement in many executive bodies, Gerry represents Canadian automotive dealers to Governments and manufacturers.

Gerry is passionate and active in giving back to the Calgary and Okotoks community.

This award supports Kidsport as well as Comrie’s Sports Equipment Bank.
