Ford has always been a leader and innovator in many areas when it comes to the truck world. They are especially making some serious strides past the competition the last 10 years when it comes to their quality, durability, technology, and life expectancy. There are some new exciting updates Ford has just made for some great additions to their pickups.

In this article, we will go over Ford’s truck models, some differences, and some pretty awesome updates.

  • Ford has just announced the new F-150 Model. It is an electric pickup truck, which will be the most powerful Ford truck to date, equipped with twin engines. Ford has unveiled the 2021 model of the F150, and many buyers will find the technology it contains a bit surprising when it is released later this year. It has a 3.3-litre V6 with 10-speed automatic transmission and runs on 17-inch steel wheels. The rear-wheel-drive system will be equipped with an all-wheel-drive and a 2.4 kW system, which is standard on the Ford F-150 Hybrid 2021. In 2019, a 2-kilowatt version will also be available, while the 2-4 kW system will be used as standard in both the F150 2020 and 2021 models, as well as in 2018.

  • The 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor is an aggressively styled version of Ford’s popular pickup truck, introduced in 2010. This truck is designed as an off-road vehicle and is also sized a bit shorter with a more powerful 3.3-litre V6 engine. This is great for camping trips, hunting trips, farming, exploring, and any other type of off-roading you might need this pick-up to handle.

  • Since 1999, Ford’s Super Duty line has included a variety of bed types that can be fitted with either the standard bed it comes with or a four-wheel-drive version of the truck. The F-250 HD and the F-350 Ford truck modes have a similar, but slightly beefier look, which is commensurate with their ability to carry large loads.

  • There are no stylistic differences between the XL and XLT models, but it is up to you to determine which F-150 pickup gives you the shine you want. While the Ranger is a medium-sized truck, the F-150 is actually a full-fledged truck, as it competes with models like the Chevy Colorado.

  • The choice between the F-150 XLT, XLS, and XLR models and the Ranger depends on how much of a truck you might need and what you want to use the truck for.

  • Ford has just released a ten-speed automatic transmission as standard equipment for 2020 models, and it is expected to transfer to the 2021 Ford F-150. The Ford F-150 is available in six configurations and is a lightweight pickup with impressive capabilities, with a payload of up to 4,500 pounds and a top speed of 60 miles per hour.

Some fun facts…

In the 1940s, Ford’s F-Series trucks, including the F-1, were some of the world’s best-selling pickup trucks. It was only when the “F-Series” debuted in 1948 that Ford really began to focus on truck models and functions, leading to the pickup truck that would dominate the truck market. In 1948, before it even became known as the F-150, this truck was introduced as a replacement for the Ford F-Series pickups, which included the B-Series pickups.

The thirteenth generation of the F-Series follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Ford F-150 Super Duty, and has the option of purchasing it until 2020. The Raptor is exclusive to the F-150, but the Limited is the most upscale model, with a payload of up to 4,500 pounds and a top speed of 60 miles per hour. The Super Duty line also offers a range of options, including all-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

If you decide to get a new version of the truck with a stronger engine, more power, or a higher price than the current model, you will not be disappointed as these trucks have shown the return on investment is worth it. These trucks outlast most of their competitors.
Based on data from earlier Ford truck models, it can be assumed that the resale value of a Ford truck is comparable to that of the competition. That means there is a pickup truck built for the duration and all you have to do is pick out which one suits you best.
